Kitulgala is the most popular destination in Sri Lanka for adventure seekers. It is 2 hours due East via Avissawella-Hatton-Nuwaraeliya Hwy/Ginigathhara Rd/ A7 from Colombo. A small town in the wet zone rain forest, it is known as one of the wettest places in the county that gets two monsoons each year.
